Position Summary

The Journeyman HVAC Technician leads assigned HVAC installation activities and assists with crew coordination, quality control, workflow management, and production scheduling within the modular construction production environment. This role is responsible for supporting productivity, training team members, and ensuring HVAC work is completed accurately and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily HVAC installation activities for assigned crew members

  • Read and interpret construction drawings, HVAC plans, and specifications

  • Verify HVAC installation quality and operational standards

  • Assist with layout and sequencing of HVAC systems and production workflow

  • Identify and address installation and quality issues during production

  • Coordinate workflow with other trades and departments

  • Train and support Apprentices and Technicians
