Build Quality Homes in a Climate-Controlled Manufacturing Facility

Polaris Modular is a growing modular home manufacturer seeking skilled construction professionals to join our production team. We offer year-round employment in a warehouse manufacturing environment where quality craftsmanship, teamwork, and safety are our top priorities.

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

  • Roofing Technician (1 Opening)

  • Interior Trim Technician – Cabinet Installation Experience Required (1 Opening)

  • Countertop Installer (1 Opening)

  • Drywall Technicians – Hanging and/or Finishing Experience (2 Openings)

  • Painter (1 Opening)

Pay

$22.00–$28.00 per hour

Starting pay is based on experience, skill level, craftsmanship, and demonstrated abilities.

Responsibilities

Depending on your trade assignment, responsibilities may include:

  • Install roofing systems including TPO and metal roofing

  • Hang, finish, tape, mud, sand, and texture drywall

  • Paint interior and exterior surfaces

  • Install interior trim, doors, baseboard, casing, and cabinetry

  • Install laminate, solid surface, and other countertop systems

  • Read and interpret construction plans and specifications

  • Measure, cut, fit, and install construction materials accurately

  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and trade-specific equipment

  • Maintain quality workmanship while meeting production goals

  • Work collaboratively with multiple construction trades

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Experience in one or more of the listed construction trades

  • Ability to produce quality workmanship with attention to detail

  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to follow construction plans and supervisor direction

  • Commitment to workplace safety

  • Experience in modular or residential construction is preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

This position is performed in an active construction, manufacturing, and warehouse environment and requires the ability to safely perform construction and production activities throughout the workday.

Employees in this position may be required to:

  • Work indoors and occasionally outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions

  • Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday

  • Perform general construction, manufacturing, warehouse, and production activities

  • Frequently move throughout production and storage areas

  • Use hand tools, power tools, equipment, and material handling devices safely

  • Lift, carry, move, and handle construction materials, supplies, tools, and equipment

  • Perform repetitive manual labor and physical work throughout the shift

  • Work around active equipment, machinery, forklifts, and moving materials

  • Climb ladders and access elevated work areas as needed

  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all company safety policies

  • Maintain productivity and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
